Watchlist for November 23rd

NLST – I’d like to be long any gap up or red/green action early in the morning. Short on red, although the odds of a good short are lessened by recent consolidation.

nlst

DRAM – Nice breakout … Preston called it spot on in a comment Friday. I’m long red/green, this could go more considering hype around NLST. Watch the volume … this won’t be worth playing unless it can get volume; the volume spike is what really signaled the strength of the breakout Friday.

dram

TTIL – Up strongly two days on earnings. I’m not interested in shorting it or buying it here.

ttil

AENY – I hate buying OTC companies, but this could be nice for continuation if it breaks aboe $3.10 with good volume.

aeny

CRXX – Has some gap to fill if it can go green another day. I’ll stay away, though.

crxx

DDS – Nice breakout and volume, but small ADR annoys me.

Trade recap for 11/19 and an abbreviated watchlist

My profit today is largely due to InvestorsLive of the Investors Underground stock chat, who is good at understanding and identifying pumps; I played and profited off of BLAP after his alerts.

TTIL, BONT on watch as longs. I explain a bit in the video. CLDS as well. NLST still on short watch, but it is getting annoyingly choppy and borrows are mostly gone.

Trades today:

Watchlist for 11/19

Things I don’t care about: AENY & GGWPQ both have nice breakouts. I like to avoid trading OTC stocks unless they pump & dumps.

HEAT – Chart is overextended, but it is up on earnings. No easy play.

heat

TWLL – Nice breakout on upgrade and increased guidance. Long on green.

twll

VM – Nice breakout at $5.30. Long on green, likely to be a snoozer though, because it is a NYSE issue.

vm

NLST – You should know this by now. Short on green/red or a break of $4.

Trade recap / watchlist: All eyes on NLST

I had a profit on NLST that erased my previous losses on it. The end appears near for it, although the stock has not yet collapsed. So ALFFS. See my video from last night if you want my thoughts on trading it and watch my video below.

NLST goes supernova

There is no watchlist tonight. That would be superfluous. There is only NLST (okay, IMGG is also interesting, but NLST is much better). Did you follow my advice to ALFSS? I did and I am ready. (And by the way, ALFSS certainly does not mean short it as soon as you can. Supernovae make great longs before they make great shorts and I tried to long it Friday). If you are interested in trading supernovae, watch this video where I lay out my battle plan.

For further edification, see my trade recaps of recent supernova GGC.

Watchlist for Friday the 13th

Odd facts: thirteen is my lucky number and I actually lived in Crystal Lake for a time while growing up.

NLST – ALFFS! ALFFS! ALFFS! Nice 100%+ run up on no meaningful news. ALFFS! ALFFS! ALFFS! You know the drill by now … hopefully.

nlst

VRMLQ – I’m long this (as is Tim Sykes) on this beautiful breakout with volume. I hope to exit on a morning spike … this thing has a good record of multi-day runs.

vrmlq

IMGG, SNIC, KNDI, NANO are some other recent breakouts. Considering how interesting the first two stocks are I won’t even show you the graphs of these stocks. If there are ideal plays, ignore all others.

Disclosure: Long 400 VRMLQ. I have a disclosure policy and you can find all my disclaimers there as well; those disclosure & disclaimers are incorporated by reference into this post.

Watchlist for 11/12

No graphs tonight. I’m beat after doing some more work on my DVD.

SMI – No play. Up on news that it will not be destroyed by litigation. Lack of intraday move suggests it has found the right price.

CHLN – Meh. Earnings. Gap and crap a little today, but I don’t anticipate any big moves.

NCST – Buyout.

NLST, SNIC – Nice breakout. Watch.

NANO – Broke out today. Might be nice tomorrow on green.

SNVP – What a waste of a beautiful pump. I heard Schwab had shares. Was beautiful morning panic on the gap down open.

Watchlist for 11/11: The next GVBP!

SNVP is the new GVBP. ALFSS!

snvp

CRXX was a nice continuation play today from last night’s watchlist. Potential short on red.

crxx

Nothing else excites me. That is fine considering I’ll be intently watching SNVP.

Watchlist for November 10th

November has been kind to me. I’ve already surpassed my trading gains from October. More importantly, I have consumed some high-quality, barely cooked beef and I have drunk good wine.

EONC – Short 2k shares overnight. Nice! I expect to cover into a morning panic. Short on red if it doesn’t gap down. Morning panics are tough to trade, though!

eonc

EONC_intraday

REV – New 52 week highs and it is offering some new debt (meaning bondholders are optimistic). Looks overextended but I wouldn’t short. Might be a decent long on green, but risk/reward is not great.

rev

OPTT – From yesterday’s watchlist, breaking out nicely. No easy play here.

optt

ONTY – Slow mover, three nice white candles. Plenty of resistance makes me want to short, but not up enough to be ideal.

onty

BMNM – Up on earnings but OTC. Uggh.

bmnm

CRXX – Long on green. I like this little move. Short on red could be nice too. Hmmm …

crxx

TTI – Preston mentioned this intra-day today in the comments. Read the comments, people! And Preston, we’ll forgive occasionally muddled writing if you keep finding such nice stocks. No point in beating yourself up or wearing a cilice. And yes, I consider it my goal to expand everyone’s vocabulary while helping you learn to trade. I’m long this earnings runner on green or a hod break.

tti

ROIAK – Gosh I hate this stock. Keeps breaking out to new 52 week highs, though.

roiak

ZAGG – Oh wow, nice move on news of a Naz listing.

zagg

INAP – Oh yeah, baby! Breakout on green! Lower volume.

inap

Disclosure: Short 2000 shares of EONC at $3.365. I have a disclosure policy and you can find all my disclaimers there as well; those disclosure & disclaimers are incorporated by reference into this post.

Watchlist for Monday: Remember, every time a stock promoter pumps, a demon gets its horns

NWBO – Have I said how I hate buying OTC stocks? This is a big move Friday but drug news was Wednesday. Hopefully this moves some more and then I’d short on red. For Monday no easy play.

nwbo

SNIC – Nice breakout, I missed it despite watching it Friday. A bit overextended for me to get excited about buying it here. Ideally it consolidates a bit before another move.

snic

LPSN – Nice beakout on earnings … I like this long at $6.

lpsn

WG – Nice move for two days on positive earnings, but is at resistance at $16.50. Potential short or long, depending on price action, but this is not as high a percentage trade as I like. SWKS is similar.

wg

PWOIF – Wow … impressive chart, looks pumped. No clear play here, just watch.

pwoif

IMGG – Continues breaking out, but no clear play considering I hate buying OTC stocks. Volume isn’t too impressive either.

imgg
